The Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) - Kolkata has declared the examination dates for the Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT 2016) to be held on July 24.

JEMAT is conducted for taking admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme offered by the management institutions of the state (both government and private) for the commencing academic session 2016.

Online application process starts from	July 01, 2016
Last date of submission of online application form is	July 14, 2016
Last date for receipt of hard copy of completed application form at University office	July 18, 2016
Admit cards may be downloaded from	July 20, 2016
The JEMAT will be conducted on	July 24, 2016
The results will be declared by	July 29, 2016
GD/PI and Counselling dates	To be announced later

Eligibility Criteria

The Minimum qualification for admission to MBA programmes is a Bachelors degree in Arts / Science / Commerce / Engineering / Technology / Medical / Dental / Agriculture or other professional courses from recognized universities. The candidates who will appear in final examination (Graduation) may also apply.

Selection Procedure

The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in written examination.

Application Fee

The candidates need to pay Rs 600 while SC/ST/OBC candidates are required to pay Rs 300 only.

Paper Pattern

The JEMAT written test will be of objective type of two hours duration as detailed below:
General English: 40 marks
Mathematics: 40 marks
Logical Reasoning: 20 marks

The application form is to be submitted online at www.wbut.ac.in and the brochure may be downloaded from www.wbut.ac.in.

Filled up application forms are to be printed and submitted to the University office along with :

Copies of Mark-Sheets,
Certificates,
Testimonials

And a Demand Draft of Rs 600/- for general category and Rs. 300/- for SC / ST / OBC candidates, drawn in favour of WBUT-JEMAT payable at Kolkata.
